History of the Club!
Durham Archery Lawn Tennis Club is understood to be the second oldest lawn tennis club in the world still operating on its original site. It was formed originally as an archery and croquet club in 1871. We believe tennis was introduced in 1874 and was being played regularly at the club in 1876, just before the first Wimbledon Championships.Learn more »
